About Ecuador Teak

Ecuador Teak is a success story of modern plantation forestry. Grown in the nutrient-rich soils of South America, these trees are pruned meticulously throughout their growth cycle. This results in logs that are exceptionally cylindrical and straight.

For sawmills, this means significantly less wastage compared to crooked or knotty logs. The wood has a clean, uniform texture with a pale golden color that is perfect for contemporary furniture designs and veneer peeling.
